By Car (recommended)

  1. From Punggol / Sengkang, head onto the SLE southbound.
  2. Transition onto the BKE, then onto the PIE westbound.
  3. Follow signs to KJE / Tengah and exit towards Plantation Crescent.
  4. From Hougang, take the CTE south then PIE westbound — slightly shorter.
  5. Park free at Plantation Plaza open-air lot, then take the lift to #04-07.
  6. Off-peak ~30–40 min. Allow 50–55 min on weekday evenings.
By MRT from Punggol
⏱ ~70–75 min door-to-door
  1. Board the North-East Line (Purple) at Punggol (NE17) towards HarbourFront.
  2. Ride ~25 min to Dhoby Ghaut (NE6 / NS24 / CC1).
  3. Transfer to the North-South Line (Red) towards Jurong East.
  4. Stay on for ~25 min, alight at Bukit Gombak (NS3).
  5. From Exit B, take bus 870 / 872 / 992 (~8 min) to Plantation Cres – Tengah CC.
  6. 2-min walk to the studio. From Sengkang / Hougang, the same plan saves ~5–10 min.

Is the studio stroller-friendly?
Yes. Plantation Plaza has lifts to all floors and the studio is level-access from the lift lobby. Strollers can be parked beside your easel or in our designated stroller area.
Can we celebrate a birthday party here?
Absolutely — birthday parties are one of our most popular NE-family bookings. Book 1–2 weeks ahead, choose private studio or outdoor area, and add café catering. We handle setup, you handle the cake.
Can you come to our NE condo instead?
Yes — off-site art jamming travels anywhere in Singapore including Punggol, Sengkang, and Hougang. Condo function rooms, void decks, community centres — we bring canvases, paints, easels, aprons, and facilitators. No group-size cap when we host at your venue.
What's the best driving route from Punggol?
SLE southbound → BKE → PIE westbound → exit at KJE / Tengah → Plantation Crescent. About 35 minutes off-peak. From Sengkang or Hougang, the route is similar but slightly shorter.
Is MRT realistic with kids in tow?
It's a 70–75 minute trip with a transfer at Dhoby Ghaut and a short bus from Bukit Gombak. Doable with school-age kids who enjoy MRT rides. For families with very young kids or strollers, driving is gentler.
How long does a family session take?
2 hours is the standard family-of-4 slot. Most NE families pair it with lunch at our café or somewhere nearby — making the whole outing a 3-hour Saturday plan, not just paint and run.
Can the kids take their canvases home in the car?
Yes — canvases travel well flat in a boot or stacked on the back seat. Acrylics are touch-dry by the time you leave. For MRT travellers, smaller canvases fit easily; larger ones can be collected later within 7 days.
Are there food options other than the in-house café?
Plantation Plaza itself has a few F&B options on the ground floor. For a proper sit-down lunch, Bukit Gombak and Bukit Batok have hawker centres about 10 minutes by car. Most NE families just use our café — it's right next to the studio.
How far in advance should I book a weekend family slot?
2–3 weeks is the sweet spot for weekend morning and early-afternoon slots, especially school holidays. Same-week bookings are sometimes possible — WhatsApp is the fastest way to check availability.
