Group booking FAQs

The questions group organisers most often ask before confirming.

What's the largest group you've hosted?

We've run sessions for groups of 200+ at school halls and church spaces. The mobile setup scales — we bring multiple facilitators, station rotations if needed, and a coordinator to manage the flow. Tell us your number and we'll confirm what's needed to run it well.

What's the minimum for a mobile (off-site) setup?

Mobile setup is most cost-effective for groups of 25+. Below that, our studio is usually the better choice unless your venue is the only feasible option (e.g. a school assembly hall during term).

How far in advance should we book?

2–3 weeks is the minimum we recommend for groups of 30+. School groups and large events often book 4–8 weeks ahead. Last-minute bookings (under a week) are possible for smaller groups — message us and we'll check availability.

Can you coordinate catering?

Yes — for studio bookings, our in-house café can handle light meals and snacks. For mobile setups, we can suggest catering partners or you can arrange your own. Either way, your group eats; we paint.

Can we have different activities for different age groups in the same session?

Yes — common for family events. Younger kids do hand-painting at one station, older ones do mosaic or 3D figurine painting at another. We brief the format ahead so everyone gets the activity that suits them.

What about photography during the session?

Your own photographer is welcome. We can also recommend event photographers we've worked with. Group photos at the end (with finished pieces held up) are a beloved part of the format.

Do you offer discounts for schools, churches, or non-profits?

Yes — we have meaningful rates for MOE schools, registered charities, and youth groups. Mention your organisation in the quote form and we'll apply the right tier.

What if our venue is unusual — outdoor, no power, no tables?

We've worked in some genuinely tricky spaces — community gardens, beach areas, void decks without power. Tell us the venue constraints in the quote form and we'll figure out a setup that works. Power isn't strictly required.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel 14+ days before your event: full refund of deposit. 7–13 days: 50% refund. Under 7 days: deposit non-refundable (we've already committed staff & materials). Postponements are usually possible with reasonable notice — we'll work with you.

Can participants take their canvases home the same day?

Yes — acrylics dry touch-firm within the session. We provide carrying flats for transport. For very large groups, we can also arrange same-day collection at your venue or our studio.

How long does a typical group session run?

2 hours is our standard group format — long enough to brief, paint, finish, and group-photo without rushing. Half-day (3.5hr) and full-day formats are available for retreats and corporate off-sites with add-ons like icebreakers or reflection time.

Do you have insurance and risk-assessment documentation?

Yes — fully insured, with risk assessment templates for MOE school bookings and other formal events. We've passed compliance checks for all major Singapore school types and major employers. Mention this in the quote form if you need documentation in advance.
