Saturday Morning Kids Art Workshop Near Plantation Plaza
A long-term creative programme for ages 4–12, with weekly Saturday sessions at Plantation Plaza, Tengah. Each theme runs over a 2-week path — explore and create in week one, complete and reflect in week two. More than an art class: storytelling, role play, and hands-on making woven into every session.

Two age-banded seasons
The Saturday programme runs across two tracks, each designed around how children actually develop creatively at that age.
Young Creator Season
Ages 4–7
Playful, sensory-rich sessions that introduce shapes, colours, textures, and stories. A gentle first creative experience, designed to spark imagination and build early confidence with materials.
Emerging Artist Season
Ages 8–12
Deeper exploration through technique, observation, and themed storytelling. Sessions help growing young artists express bigger ideas, experiment freely, and develop a more confident creative voice.
Each theme runs a 2-week creative path
Not one Saturday, one finished piece. Two consecutive Saturdays build toward a more considered result.
Week One — Explore & Create
Materials, theme, and first ideas. Children explore the medium, try things out, and begin their piece without pressure to finish.
Week Two — Complete & Reflect
Building on what was started, finishing the piece with more confidence, then a short reflect-and-share moment before take-home.
Themed activities woven into every session
Beyond paint and paper — each two-week theme draws on a mix of these approaches to keep sessions engaging and genuinely developmental.
Stepping into a theme to spark imagination before creating.
Short visual references that introduce a theme or technique.
Playful exercises that build observation and creative thinking.
Looking closely at real objects to inform what gets created.
Narrative framing that gives a theme emotional context.
Hands-on making with watercolour, acrylic, oil pastels, clay & more.
