💕 Anniversary Date Idea · Singapore

Anniversary Art Jamming Experience Singapore

Paint each other's portrait, or create one canvas together — either way, you leave with something that's still on your wall next anniversary. A genuinely different way to mark the date than another dinner reservation.

Dinner ends. This doesn't.

A nice dinner is still a nice dinner — but by next week neither of you can describe what you actually talked about. Here's the honest comparison.

Another anniversary dinner

Reservation, dress code, the bill

Conversation across a table, same as any night

Nothing physical to keep afterward

Ends the moment you leave the restaurant

Anniversary art jamming

Side by side, actually making something

Conversation happens naturally, not performed

A portrait or canvas that hangs on your wall

Still there next anniversary, and the one after

Two ways to mark the occasion

Portraits of each other, or one shared canvas — both genuinely work, and the right one depends on what kind of keepsake you want on the wall.

🖼️

Joint Canvas Keepsake

One canvas, made together

One shared canvas, both of you contributing — a landscape, an abstract piece, or a scene meaningful to your relationship. Best for couples who want a single statement piece for the living room rather than two separate portraits, or who prefer collaborating over taking turns.

1 shared canvas 2 hr session Theme of your choice

Whatever year you're marking

The format works at any milestone — what changes is the meaning you bring to it.

1st

First anniversary. The portrait you make of each other now is also the worst either of you will ever paint — which is exactly why it's worth keeping. A baseline to compare against on your 10th.

5th

Fifth anniversary. Long enough together that "another dinner" has genuinely lost its charm. A session like this resets the kind of date you're capable of having.

10th

Tenth anniversary & beyond. If you did the portrait format on an earlier anniversary, bring the old one along — the comparison between the first portrait and a decade-later one says more than any card.

💍

Wedding anniversaries. Engagement anniversary, wedding anniversary, the anniversary of your first date — any of them work. Tell us the occasion when you book and we'll set the studio up accordingly.

Take-home framing — so it actually ends up on the wall

A finished portrait that sits in a drawer for two years isn't much of a keepsake. We offer framing add-ons so you walk out wall-ready, not just canvas-in-hand.

Simple Wood FrameNatural or black, fits standard canvas sizes
Gold-Edge FrameA slightly more formal finish, popular for milestone anniversaries
Pair Framing SetMatching frames for both portraits — display together as a set

Framing is collected 3–5 days after your session (acrylic needs to fully cure before framing). We'll arrange collection or local delivery. WhatsApp us for current framing rates.

Anniversary session FAQs

Questions couples ask before booking.

Neither of us can draw — is the portrait format actually doable?
Yes — that's most couples who book this. The facilitator walks through basic proportion and shape-building before anyone picks up a brush, and most "I can't draw faces" couples are pleasantly surprised by what they produce. The point isn't technical accuracy — it's that your partner made it, looking at you.
Can we book the studio privately, just the two of us?
Yes — the Private Studio add-on reserves the space exclusively for your couple session rather than sharing it with other walk-in guests. Popular for milestone anniversaries (5th, 10th, 25th) where couples want full privacy.
How long does the framing add-on take?
Acrylic paint needs 3–5 days to fully cure before framing, so your portraits are framed and ready for collection (or local delivery) about a week after your session. We'll text you when they're ready.
What if we'd rather not paint portraits of each other?
The Joint Canvas Keepsake format is the alternative — one shared canvas, any theme you like (a place meaningful to you, an abstract piece, anything). Mention your preference when booking and we'll set the studio up for whichever format you choose.
Is alcohol allowed during the session?
Yes — BYOB is welcome for couple sessions. Bring a bottle of wine or champagne and we'll provide glassware and an ice bucket at no extra charge.
Can we add this to a bigger anniversary plan — dinner before or after?
Absolutely — many couples book a late-afternoon session (4–6pm) before heading to dinner, or a morning session followed by a relaxed rest of the day. Evening slots are also available if you'd prefer the art session to be the dinner replacement entirely.
Can we book this as a surprise for my partner?
Yes — let us know when booking that it's a surprise and we'll keep communication low-key (no confirmation calls that might give it away, just a discreet WhatsApp text). Many partners book this exact session as the surprise element of an anniversary plan.
What if one of us is much more "artistic" than the other?
That's actually part of what makes the portraits interesting — the comparison between styles is part of the keepsake. The facilitator adjusts guidance individually so neither partner feels behind; the goal is two honest portraits, not two technically equal ones.
