Art Classes in Singapore Inspired by Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory

At Art Journey, our teaching philosophy is based on the Swiss psychologist known for his work on child development, Piaget’s Cognitive Theory which combines children’s cognitive development theories with artistic freedom to nurture creativity, observation skills, and creative expression.

Our curriculum is designed based on Piaget’s cognitive development stages, ensuring age-appropriate learning:

Young Creator Program (Ages 4-7): Focuses on doodling, shape recognition, and creative expression to spark an interest in art.

Emerging Artist Program(Ages 8-12): Develops artistic techniques, observational skills, and thematic creativity for deeper artistic exploration.
