Birthday party FAQs

Can we bring our own cake and food?
Yes — bring your own cake, snacks, and drinks. We provide the dedicated cake table; catering and food itself is up to you, though we can coordinate delivery timing as an add-on if you'd like one less thing to manage.
What age range is each theme suitable for?
All themes work from age 3 up — younger children aged 3 to 5 get extra hands-on guidance and simpler versions of the activity to keep them comfortable and engaged. Older kids, teens, and even adults are welcome too if your party spans a wider age range. Mixed-age parties are common — younger siblings can join with simplified versions of the same activity.
Can I customise the theme beyond the three shown here?
Yes — themes can be discussed and customised based on your preference and package. Princess, Dinosaur, and Space are our most-requested starting points, but tell us what your child is into and we'll set the studio up around it.
Are balloon decorations and party favors included?
Not by default — each guest's own artwork is the take-home keepsake included in every package. Balloon decor and additional party favors aren't part of the standard package but can be discussed and quoted separately if you'd like them added.
Is the session mess-free?
Yes — it's a hands-on but mess-free art jamming experience. Materials and setup are designed so kids can dive in without you worrying about paint ending up everywhere.
How long does the session run?
Most sessions run 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your package — enough time for the activity, cake, and photos without feeling rushed.
How far ahead should we book?
2–4 weeks ahead for weekend slots, especially during school holiday periods when birthday parties cluster. Weekday afternoon slots are usually available with shorter notice.
Can we mix themes — for example, dinosaur decorations with a canvas painting activity?
Yes — themes and activities can be mixed and matched. Let us know your preference when booking and we'll set up decorations and the activity separately if that's what works best for your birthday child.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
A deposit secures your date and headcount estimate; the balance is due closer to the party date once your final guest count is confirmed. WhatsApp us for our current deposit amount and cancellation window — these are confirmed at time of booking.
Do parents need to stay, or can they drop off?
For birthday parties, we generally recommend at least the host parent stay throughout, since you'll want to be there for cake and photos. Other guests' parents are welcome to stay or step out — facilitators supervise the activity throughout either way.
Is there an outdoor option if we want more space?
Yes — our outdoor area accommodates up to 25 pax, useful for larger parties or if you want a mix of indoor activity time and outdoor play. Weather-dependent, so we'd recommend an indoor backup plan for outdoor bookings.
