Kids Art Workshop in Jurong West (Jurong West & Pioneer Families)
A short drive — 8 to 12 minutes from anywhere in Jurong West. Free open-air parking at Plantation Plaza, no juggling carpark tickets with kids in tow. Real workshops in a real studio, with a café for the parent who waits.

Honest drive times across Jurong West
PIE westbound, exit at KJE / Tengah — that's the whole journey. Off-peak times below.
From JW Central
~10 min
Via Jurong West St 41 → PIE → KJE → Plantation Cres.
From Pioneer
~8 min
Pioneer Road North → PIE → KJE. Almost the shortest in JW.
From JW Spring / JW Green
~12 min
JW St 91 / 93 → PIE → KJE → Plantation Cres.
No paid-carpark hassle. Just park and go.
Anyone who's tried to manoeuvre kids and shopping out of a JEM or Jurong Point carpark knows the routine — coupons, gantries, paid-by-the-minute clocks. Plantation Plaza isn't that. Drive in, park, lift up to #04-07. Done.
- Free open-air lot, no paid gantries
- Almost never full, even on weekend mornings
- Sheltered walkway from lot to lift lobby
- Lift access to every floor
- Drop-off bay at the front for quick pickups
- No vouchers, no time limits, no surprises

Why JW families drive the extra few minutes
Jurong West has plenty of closer kids' activities. So why drive over to Tengah? The reasons most JW families give us when they explain it to their friends:
- Substantive workshops, not babysitting — every session builds toward a real finished piece your child is proud of.
- Quality materials — real acrylics, cotton canvas, brushes by age — not dollar-store craft kits.
- Small group attention — facilitator-to-child ratio kept tight enough for real engagement.
- Café for parents who stay — proper coffee and bites, no need to leave the building.
- Genuinely free parking — which after years of mall carparks, you'll appreciate more than you'd expect.
- A change of scene — many JW parents tell us the short drive itself is part of the appeal; it makes the workshop feel like an "outing", not a chore.
A familiar weekend name in the JW school community
Many of our regulars come from these schools — not because of any affiliation, but because Saturday recommendations travel quickly in JW parent groups.
Jurong West Primary School
~12 min drive from school to studio. Weekend regulars across cohorts.
Frontier Primary School
~9 min drive. Strong concentration of regulars from this catchment.
Westwood Primary / Yuhua Primary
~10–13 min drive. Common Saturday rhythm for families across these schools.
