Real attention, not supervision. Our facilitators engage with each child's piece specifically — not a blanket "great job!" after every brushstroke. Small groups mean this is possible.

How the term enrolment is structured

Sessions build on each other. The 12-week term runs in three phases — not because we've mapped out a rigid curriculum, but because meaningful creative development has a natural arc.

Phase 1 · Weeks 1–4

Foundation

Role play, observation, and guided creative craft. Building familiarity with materials and forming the habit of focused attention.

Phase 2 · Weeks 5–9

Technique

Layering, shading, composition, texture. Skills introduced deliberately so that each session builds vocabulary your child can return to.

Phase 3 · Weeks 10–12

Expression

Open briefs, personal choices, more complex formats. Where the term's learning consolidates into work that genuinely reflects the child.

  1. Exit Beauty World MRT (DT5) and walk to the bus stop on Upper Bukit Timah Road.
  2. Take the DTL to Bukit Panjang (DT1/BP6), transfer to the NSL at Choa Chu Kang.
  3. One stop south to Bukit Gombak (NS3).
  4. Board bus 870 or 872 from Exit B (~8 min).

How does this compare to an art enrichment centre?
The main differences: we run sessions in small groups (not classroom-sized cohorts), we don't have a graded curriculum or formal assessments, and sessions are facilitated rather than formally instructed. The philosophy is that real creative development happens when a child is engaged with materials and ideas — not when they're working toward a correct output. Some families run us alongside a more structured enrichment programme; others use us as the alternative to one.
What's the group size?
We keep groups small enough that each child gets genuine attention from the facilitator during a session. The exact number varies by age tier — ask us when you enquire and we'll tell you the current size for your child's slot. We don't pack sessions to fill capacity.
What's the facilitator background?
Our facilitators are trained in both the activity formats and in working with children at different developmental stages. They're not just supervising — they're paying attention to each child's approach and responding specifically. We can share more on this when you come for a trial session and meet the facilitator.
Can parents observe the session?
Yes for the first session or two — particularly useful for younger children settling in. For ongoing sessions, most children focus better without a parent in view; our café is right next door so you're always close by. We can discuss what works for your child specifically.
Is there a trial before committing to a term?
Yes, always. One session is the right way to see whether the format clicks for your child. If it does, we roll the trial session fee into the term enrolment.
Can my child join mid-term?
Sometimes — it depends on where the group is in the progression framework and whether a mid-term entry would disrupt the cohort. Message us and we'll give you an honest answer for the specific slot you're considering.
What if my child misses a week?
Each term includes one make-up session at a mutually convenient time. We'll also brief your child on what was covered so the progression continues without a gap.
Can siblings of different ages enrol together?
We run age-aligned sessions in parallel slots — a common BT-family pattern is booking a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old into concurrent Saturday sessions, then collecting both at the same time. One drive, two sessions running in parallel.
What evidence of progress will we see over the term?
The most visible evidence is the work itself — compare week 1 to week 12 and the difference is usually clear. We also send a brief WhatsApp note after each session with what was worked on and what to watch for next time. At the end of term, there's a portfolio review where your child walks you through their pieces.
How far ahead should we book?
Term enrolments for weekend morning slots, especially from BT catchment, tend to fill 3–4 weeks before term start. If you have a specific slot in mind, message us early and we'll hold it while you decide.
Is parking at Plantation Plaza easy?
Free open-air lot, almost never full on weekend mornings. No gantries, no coupons. Straightforward in-and-out for the standard drop-off-and-return pattern.
Do you do private group sessions for Bukit Timah families?
Yes. Several BT landed-property families have hosted private cohort sessions for a group of school friends — at our studio or as a mobile setup at their home. Minimum around 6 children. Message us with your idea and we'll work out the format.
