154 Direct Bus from Clementi

Bus 154 — the Clementi parent's quiet favourite

If you don't drive, bus 154 from Clementi Interchange is the route most regular families settle into. You'll ride through familiar Bukit Batok stops, hop off near Bukit Gombak, and transfer one short bus to our studio doorstep. No MRT changes, no underground walks, no fuss.

Total time: around 30 minutes one-way. Headphones, snack, podcast — the kids barely notice.

Why Clementi families make the cross-region trip

There are art spots closer to home. We hear that often — usually right before parents tell us why they kept coming back anyway. Three reasons keep coming up:

  • Real materials & real techniques — proper acrylics, cotton canvas, brushes by age — not the dollar-store craft kit feel.
  • Small group, attentive facilitation — kids actually get noticed and stretched.
  • Café for the parent who stays — proper coffee while your child creates. The half-hour suddenly feels like a Saturday treat.
  • Free parking — Plantation Plaza's lot is rarely full, even on Saturday mornings.
  • Substantive sessions, not babysitting — your child leaves with a real finished piece they're proud of.

A familiar name in Clementi parent circles

Many of our weekend regulars come from these schools — not because of any affiliation, just because families end up recommending us in their parent groups.

FAQs from Clementi parents

The questions Clementi and West Coast families actually ask before booking.

Is it really only ~15 minutes by car?
Off-peak, yes — AYE westbound to PIE is mostly a clear run during weekend mornings. Add 10–15 min during weekday evening rush. From Sunset Way and West Coast Vale, allow ~18 min off-peak.
Does bus 154 actually go to your studio?
Bus 154 from Clementi Interchange runs through the Bukit Batok area — you'll alight near Bukit Gombak and transfer one short bus (870 or 872) for the last leg to Plantation Cres. Total ~30 min. WhatsApp us if you need the exact transfer stop for your day.
Are you affiliated with NUS High or Nan Hua Primary?
No — we're an independent studio. We mention them because many of our regulars come from those families. No school sponsorship, no formal partnership, just a familiar Saturday name in those parent networks.
Can I drop off and run errands somewhere?
Common Clementi-family pattern: drop off, drive back to West Mall, IMM, or Jurong Point for groceries, return at pickup. The drop-off-only format is fully supported — your child stays with our facilitator.
Do you have weekend morning slots?
Yes — Saturday and Sunday mornings are our most popular slots. Weekday after-school slots are also available. WhatsApp us for current availability — weekend mornings fill 1–2 weeks ahead, especially during school holidays.
Can we book a group with my Clementi friend's family?
Yes — book 4 or more kids together and we'll arrange a section with a group discount. Popular for school-cohort birthday gatherings or end-of-term celebrations.
What if my child has never tried a structured art workshop before?
Most first-timers from Clementi are exactly that. Our facilitator meets each child where they are — no prior experience, no pressure. A single trial session is the easiest way to find out if the format clicks.
Is the studio stroller and younger-sibling friendly?
Yes. Plantation Plaza has lifts to all floors and the studio is level-access. Strollers can park beside your seating, and waiting parents are welcome to use our café.
What about food after the session?
Our in-house café handles light meals. For a fuller Saturday plan, Bukit Batok and Jurong East food courts are 10 minutes away — easy to fold into the return drive.
Do you offer trial sessions?
Yes. A single drop-in session is the simplest way to see whether the format suits your child before committing to a term programme. Message us on WhatsApp to book.
What about siblings of different ages?
Common Clementi situation — we run age-aligned workshops in parallel time slots. Book your toddler and primary-schooler into the same Saturday and they'll create at their own paces, while you handle one trip.
What if it's raining or the PIE is jammed?
Plantation Plaza is sheltered from the bus stop, and our studio is fully indoors. For PIE jams, the alternative route via Clementi Road → Bukit Timah → Bukit Batok adds maybe 10 minutes — still under half an hour total.
